Project simulation day

Your project managers have been through the traditional project management training courses and may even be Prince2 qualified, but there’s something missing. It’s people that deliver projects but the training didn’t cover “people”. That’s where SimulTrain® comes in.

This 1 day workshop uses the unique SimulTrain® project simulation tool to bring project management to life. SimulTrain® is used to draw out the key lessons to be learnt in running projects, particularly the people interactions, and relates them back  to your own project environment.

This workshop is designed to bring groups of up to 20 project managers together to share the simulation exercise then discuss the key messages arising from it. The agenda for the day:

Stage 1

  • Introduction
  • Planning the project
  • Simulation Stage 1
  • Progress Report Preparation

Stage 2

  • Progress Report Delivery
  • Stage 1 lessons learned
  • Refining the plan
  • Simulation Stage 2
  • Key learning points discussion
  • The scores
